Detox Retreat in Southern Spain
Set among the mountains of Zújar and overlooking the turquoise waters of the Negratín Reservoir, Hotel La Alcanacia offers a beautiful natural setting for a deeply restorative detox retreat.
This retreat approaches detoxification on all levels of your being — body, mind and spirit. Liver cleansing, herbal medicine support, mindfulness, meditation, mindful walking, breathing and silence practices, and deep relaxation work together to support the body's natural elimination pathways. At the same time, we create the conditions for the nervous system to shift into its natural rest-and-digest state, giving the mind space to become quiet and clear.
Detoxification Without Deprivation
You will eat nourishing, plant-rich food until you are satisfied, with carefully chosen ingredients that provide the body with essential nutrients and building blocks while supporting its natural detoxification process. Whenever possible, meals are prepared with local and organic ingredients.
Natural Hot Springs & Mineral Mud
At the heart of the retreat are the natural hot springs with mineral-rich mud of Zújar. Thermal bathing and mineral-rich mud have traditionally been valued for supporting circulation, relaxing muscles and joints, easing physical tension, supporting skin health and promoting deep relaxation. Together with a nourishing detox program that supports the body from within, the thermal waters and mineral mud offer a beautiful whole-body approach to renewal.
Before & After Retreat Program
An optional three-day pre-detox program at home helps prepare your body before arriving in Spain, allowing you to benefit more deeply from the five-day retreat. A one-day post-detox integration program at home helps you transition gradually back into everyday eating and daily life.
